Project Overview

Our work with Arizona State University (ASU) has involved remodeling and planning projects at the original Pete Dye designed ASU Karsten Golf Course. Our work included remodeling to Hole Nos. 2, 7, 11 and 12, along with providing numerous in-kind design services to the ASU Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams for short game and putting area facilities.

At the short par-3 No. 7 we re-worked the lone Dye bunker guarding the green and expanded tee surface area. The short, 110-yard hole plays havoc with players due to its in-between length, requiring decisions on which wedge to hit, full or half shot, and the expansive green with its many hole locations.

The Pete Dye design is one of only three Dye originals in the State of Arizona.
